The City of Sprague furnishes water and sewer service in the city of Sprague and is contracted with Sunshine Disposal for garbage services.
The Clerk/Treasurer is responsible for the billing of water, sewer, and garbage charges. Bills are created on the 29th of each month and are due on the 15th of the following month. Please see the example timeline below.
March 29 Bills are created for March services.
April 1 Bills arrive on or around the first of the month.
April 15 Utility bills are due.
April 25 Any unpaid utility bills are assessed a $10 late fee.
For your convenience there is a drop box located at City Hall for after-hours payments. If the due date falls on a weekend or holiday you have until 9:00 a.m. the next business day. We now accept debit/credit cards and ACH payments online, in-person, or over the phone. We also do payment arrangements.
